Patented* folding rain guards – allows bigger rain guards for better weather protection. Can be mounted at different heights and angles to suit different animals and weather conditions. Drop down allows the farmer to get close to feeder opening and to use the tray as a step to see inside. Drop down for compact transport and secure loading on forks. Rain guard extensions pull out to create a veranda effect, taking water run off away from the feed area reducing the animals impact on the soil around the feeder.
Low loading height compared to all other larger volume feeders, with extra capacity under the high full opening lid. Lower overall height with full width lid improves stability in wind.

- Double sided feeding, suitable for grain or pallets
- STRONG, Fully welded and hot dip galvanised frame made from 50X50mm RHS, 4 skid design.
- Checker plate between outside skids reduces impact on ground and improves stability.
- High specification zinc galvanised sheet (270grams/m2) exceeds Australian standards. 2mm thick load bearing sides, and abundant internal strengthening rods and straps.
- Hinged high-lid with lock and large handles. Lid made from aluminium with internal steel frame for weight reduction
- High lid allows feeder body to be overfilled with lid coming down over the top of the feed.
- Full width opening lid makes filling simple, with no requirement to hand push feed under the top edges in order to completely fill the feeder.
- Proven lick design with adjusters identical to the original large Feed Boss feeders. Feed system also shared with new 2m2 smaller model (Feed Boss 2000)
- Deep spill tray with extra fold for strength and patented* hinged ‘clean out’ door
- Adjusters for sheep are fitted as standard. Cattle require a deeper lower adjuster, also readily available
- Perfect for accurate feed control. Can be closed off even when full.

- Solid tow point, and extra off centre support (75 X 50RHS) for lifting feeder with standard length forks

- Rainguards are deeper than all competitors and provide superior protection from rain, reducing clogging & wasted feed. They work more as an adjustable verandah.
- Teflon strip under the adjusters reduces long term corrosion to the base from acidic saliva
- Shipped as a flat pack. Straight forward, simple assembly with instructions and all hardware and sealants supplied. Assembly time 1.5 – 2.5 hours

Optional patented hinged tongue restrictor*
Easy add on to any
Feed Boss and most Universal Feeders. Prevents animals from shovelling
feed sideways with their tongue. The hinged design allows the guard to
swing out of the way making clearing feed blockages much easier than
