Sheet metal is 270g/m² zinc/galvanised finish (higher than normal Australian standards), Fully welded frame is hot dip galvanised. This Feeder is designed for long life.
Sliding lid, low loading height, removable rain guards reduces footprint when shipping assembled, rain guards have a gutter effect, directing rain away from the feed area, reducing soil damage. Two sight glasses and tow hitch.

- Economical to transport. In flat-pack form, 5 units stacked high can be shipped in only two pallet spaces. If assembled without rainguards it is 2 pallet spaces per feeder. With rain guards installed most transport companies charge 3 pallet spaces. Ability it easily remove or fit rainguards allows for big transport cost saving compared to most other manufacturers designs.

Optional patented hinged tongue restrictor*
Easy add on to any Feed Boss and most Universal Feeders. Prevents animals from shovelling feed sideways with their tongue. The hinged design allows the guard to swing out of the way making clearing feed blockages much easier than fixed restrictor designs. Galvanised with no sharp corners or edges.
